If you’ve never been to our practice before, here are two easy routes you could take, starting from the nearby local library.
- Get onto 111th St and head east for a few blocks. Across from Fairplay Foods, turn right onto Natoma Ave, then turn into the first parking lot. We’re at 11104 S Natoma Ave.
- If the traffic on 111th St is bad, you could go via 112th St instead, then turn left onto Natoma Ave and left again into our parking lot once you get past the houses.

The village of Worth, Illinois, boasts a rich history that stretches back over 10,000 years when it served as one of Lake Michigan’s ancient beaches, standing 40 feet above the current lake level. In 1835, the land saw its first recorded sale to John Blackstone and changed hands a year later to Dwitt Lane, earning the early moniker “Lane’s Island.” By 1850, as Chicago’s outskirts were organized into townships, the area was named Worth Township in honor of General William Jenkins Worth, a notable figure in the U.S.-Mexican War.
The late 1800s and early 1900s marked significant development for Worth, catalyzed by strategic constructions like the Illinois and Michigan Canal in the 1830s, the Wabash Railroad at the turn of the century, and later the Calumet Sag Canal in 1911. These developments brought settlers and sparked growth, leading to the establishment of the Village of Worth in 1914, as the population reached 300. This burgeoning community quickly recognized the need for structured governance, leading to its formal incorporation following a decisive vote by the residents on August 29, 1914.
